Leaders will have to demonstrate to their communities the value of volunteers in the delivery of emergency services through a proactive approach to leading volunteers. \nBeyond Hoses & Helmets (BH&H) lays the groundwork to prepare current and future leaders to lead and manage a fire department with creativity and innovation. BH&H is an interactive workshop presenting current successful techniques on: \n• Retaining\n• Recruiting\n• Leading\n• Marketing\n• Building relationships\n• Conflict resolution \nThe Dinwiddie Fire and EMS (Virginia) will host the delivery of this course at the Public Safety Building\, 13850 Courthouse Road\, Dinwiddie\, VA\, 23841.
